  1. it may be ,

  2. Tachycardia refers to the rhythm of the heart.= - the speed of the beating. It is not a heart attack but can lead to a heart attack.

"Heart attack" does  only  refer to the heart stopping for a period of time - could just be 10 seconds - requiring  a pacemaker.

  3. Tachycardia simply means that the heart is beating over 100 times per minute, and cardiac arrest means that the heart has stopped beating.

A heart attack means that a region of the heart is not getting enough blood flow which leads to death of the muscle tissue in that particular region.  If enough tissue dies, this will lead to cardiac arrest.

  4. Tachycardia means a heart rate greater than 100.  with a heart attack heart muscle has died.  You can develop tachycardia after having a heart attack, and there are different types of tachycardia. Not all people who have a heart attack have a cardiac arrest either.

  5. Tachycardia isn't strictly speaking a heart attack no.

A heart attack is mainly caused by the heart muscles failing due to damage/smoking/fatty foods/blood clots etc etc the heart then constricts not allowing blood to flow through

Tachycardia is where for example your heart rate increases and will pump more blood out than it is returning back into the heart, which can cause shortness of breath..

Many acute recurrences of Tachycardia can lead to Angina, which is a milder form of a heart attack.
