Medicare question?

Since My dad is getting married to a women who have 2kids of her own. Her 2kids are on medicare. He is planning to buy her health insurance. & he not buying her 2kids health insurance because there too expensive. since she is getting married, will medicare still be ablivable for her 2kids?

& btw this women (Step Mom) does not work.

  1. No they will NOT be able to. Your fathers income will count as hers. Where is their father? Usually if a mother has custody of the kids the father is normally responsible for health insurance. Well that is if they have a father worth a d**n.

  3. I seriously doubt the kids are on Medicare, which is for disabled people, and senior citizens.  They're probably on Medicaid, welfare insurance.

    It's possible, if he makes decent money, that once he marries her, the kids wont qualify for medicaid any more.  But we have no idea, for sure.
