Medication mixing?

Is it safe to take a tylenol and a benadryl at the same time.?Cause I used it for a headache I had and my allergies are killing me. I've never tried it before and was always scared to take two differ medicines I used before at the SAME TIME.

Is it safe? Will anything happen?

Yes you can take them together. There are some over the counter preparations that include both.

It is safe, because Tylenol's Active Ingredient is Acetaminophen is an analgesic, which is used to treat pains. Benadryl's active ingredient is Diphenhydramine is an antihistaminic, which decreases allergic symptoms, it causes sleepiness. You can buy Tylenol PM, which has both active ingredient in safety doses... But anyways u can take'em together...

There is no harm in tylenol and benadryl at the same time. Actually you can buy OTC medications with the same two active ingrediants
