Question:

Medication overdose question?

So I have to take 2 pills a day; one in the morning for OCD, and one at night for depression. So I took my one pill at around noon. At around 10pm, I took an Advil for menstrual cramps. It's about 1.30am now and I was wondering if it was okay for me to take my second medicine tablet now without overdosing or something?

  1. Without knowing specifically what medications you take, it is impossible to assess whether or not your drug regimen may contain interactions. Though unlikely with many medications for depression, Advil (ibuprofen) causes some medications like warfarin to stay at higher levels in your blood for longer than it should which can be potentially dangerous.

That being said, I highly doubt that you'd have any kind of toxicity from your drug regimen from just taking one additional ibuprofen.

  2. taking it should be fine.  its about building a regime.  taking it at the same time daily.  But you shouldnt OD
