Medication question how long does it take to feel like myself again?

have been on zoloft for 7 years, since I was 13. I have dropped down slowly 8 days ago. I have a hard time finding words, and I feel different, combined with alot of worry

how long does the withdrawl last?

what will help during the process

I wouldn't go off any medication without your Dr.'s Advice.  You may need to stay on it or be weaned off it.  Going off medication with out supervision can be fatal. You really need to talk to your doc about this and not strangers.

Eight days is probably way too fast.  Do this with your doctor.  If your doctor is saying 8 days, then tell what's up.  If your doc doesn't care about how this is affecting you, consider finding another.

I recently went off lexapro.About 14 days ago.When I was done weaning off I started a herbal supplement called Amoryn right away.I had no withdrawal symptoms at all.Befor I had quit lexapro cold turkey and had withdrawal symptoms so bad I thought I was a major drug user.My doctor told me that withdrawal can last up to 3 weeks.But since I started the herbals I am way more clear headed than when I was on my meds and like I said I had no withdrawal this time.You might want to check out their website.Just a thought.I want you to feel better.I know what its like.Good luck and take care.
