Medicine While Pregnant or Am i pregnant?

I got on birth control wednesday (Aug.13) I had unprotected s*x that following Sat. and my stomach has been hurting since Sun. I talked to a friend and they said that i could get pregnant on birth control and my stomach could be hurting because it's my first time ever being pregnant. It's been a week now and my stomach never stopped hurting. I went to the ER tue. and they gave me medicine to take for my stomach. I take the medicine when i should but it never stops hurting..but i'm kind of wondering what if i am pregnant and is it safe to take the medicine? My friend said since it's been a week i could go ahead and get a pregnancy test but i don't think i will be able to tell so soon. What do you think?

you just started the pill so yes you can get pregnant. you should do a full cycle before having s*x. even then the pill isnt 100%.

Having s*x about a week ago wouldnt give you pregnancy signs yet. way to early for that

Maybe your stomach is reacting to the new pills...talk with your doctor.

I think that you should have read the birth control packet insert that says it takes 14 days for it to start protecting against pregnancy! It depends on the medicine if it is okay during pregnancy, but a lot of medicines should not be used during pregnancy, Plus, if it isn't helping why take it anyway? And you won't get an accurate pregnacy test reading until you have missed your period (at least 4 weeks from conception.)

take a pregnancy test. or it might be for the birth control that u are on. when i got on birth control my stomach was hurting, and i was sick for a while. they told me it was form birth control. that i was taking.
