Question:

Medicine aftertaste and burning

I need help with a few things: I'm taking medicine that causes that nasty lingering aftertaste in the back of the throat, but it also causes my chest to burn with a nauseating feeling.

I've tried drinking juice chasers, gargling with mouthwash and warm saltwater, taking antacids, etc. None of these have helped.

Does anyone know how to quickly get rid of the aftertaste and burning? I have to take these pills 4 times a day, and the feeling lasts hours at a time, which is extremely unpleasant.

  1. all you need to do is take tab PANTODAC 40 MG twice daily once in the morning as soon as you get up(empty stomach) and another time in the evening!!

make sure you don't eat or drink anything for 30 min after you take this medication!!

    all the best

  2. If you are having that kind of reaction to a prescription, you need to tell your doctor so they can get an alternative for you. If it's an OTC medicine, I would suggest talking to a pharmacist about it.

You should not just randomly take some extra drug to cover up the symptoms of another drug... symptoms like this are your body's way of telling you something. It's very possible that you're having an allergic reaction (the nausea and burning feeling) to the medicine, so it would likely be better to avoid that product. Good luck!
