Medicine and pharmacology personal statement statement?

my opening statement seems to be running away from me lool please help. i am goign to apply to medicine but i want my backup to be pharmacology.how do i explain my love for bothin my personal statement. i mean i have done lots of thinsg but i have no clue how to put both subjects ..and you know. to say that i love both.medicine more but u no...arrrrghhhhh gosh. please help.dammy thank you

Do not, repeat NOT, talk about your love for another field in your medical school personal statement.  Don't talk about backups, at all.  They want to hear that you are sure you want to be a doctor, and why.

If you are writing the pharm personal statement, I am sure that the same thing goes for them.

You really need to take the trouble to write separate personal statements for each set of your applications, tailored for the schools (of course they can draw from the same basic experiences).  Honestly, you'll do yourself no favors if you try to write one that's one-size-fits-all.
