Medicine like taste after root canal?

i had a root canal yesterday,and today i have a medicine like taste in my mouth....anyone else had this? or know what it is? thanks

9087 has it right.  It's the antibiotic packing.  It can take even longer than two days, so don't be alarmed if it lasts a day or two longer than that.

I am having the same experience.  I had a root canal yesterday and still have that medicine-tatse.  Thank good ness for online forums, it helps me feel like Im not the only one!
