what do you need study if you want to get into the research of AIDS

Yes...Take as much biology and chemistry as possible, go to a good college and major in chemistry, biology, or biochemistry, and then go to graduate school and study more virology, biochem, molecular biology....

AIDS research... if you have ideas of your own that you would like to do work on ... you will need at least a PhD... in a hard science such as Clinical Chemistry, Virology, Medial Microbiology.  

If you just want to do someone else's research..

a degree in Medical Technology (BS) would be enough
