Medicine question please answer?

years ago used to take panic attack meds and i got up quick like out of bed. my vison would go all white for a second. is this close to fainting. or what.

  1. Antidepressants (such as Paxil, Zoloft, Celexa) can cause weird head symptoms. These are usually described more as electrical buzzes, though.

    Benzodiazepines such as Xanax, Ativan, Valium, Klonopin, which are anxiety medicines, list fainting as a side-effect so although scary, that could be just a notable side-effect from that medicine if you were on that.

    Prazosin which is not an anxiety medicine, but an old blood pressure medicine used to treat PTSD nightmares (probably off-label use), also can have weird side-effects of fainting if you stand up too soon from bed that I have heard about, although that is a really uncommon one to be on.
