Medicines for Arthritis?

What are the best over-the-counter medicines for arthritis (for ladies in their 70s)? I mean a real medicine, not pain killers such as Tylenol, Advil, etc.

Try cod liver oil, it has some anti inflammatory action. This is the one claimed property that I am not to sure of, but it has so many other health benifits that you should try it.

Well, there are several natural supplements that help joint health, which may remove the cause of the pain. The most popular are Microlactin, Tart Cherries, Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM, Hyaluronic Acid, Litozin (Danish Rose Hips), and Bromelain. To date, there are no drugs that do anything more than mask the joint pain (unless they are based on one of the products I mentioned).

The only thing to really watch out for is allergies. Glucosamine is typically from Shellfish and Microlactin is from milk. As long as you're not allergic to those, you should have no problem. Good luck!

Find out what foods you are allergic to and stay off them for 90 days at least.

I would suggest baker's yeast, brewer's yeast, yogurt, and mushrooms. for a starter. GOOD LUCK.
