Question:

Medieval trips, castles etc.. HELP!

Where would be a good place to go for my birthday?

There was this Medieval Banquet thing in London that I thought looked quite good, but I'm not sure.

Or I'd really like to go to a castle, where they have people dressed up, knights fighting and jesters etc xD Do you know of any places?

Any information and useful websites would be great!

Thanks ~

  1. http://www.warwick-castle.co.uk/  -springs to  mind , My own town has a caslte but its not very big -just google castles in England within X amount of miles and then base where you go on that -but check that the castles arnt delerict also

  2. Warwick Castle basically has everything described - its a gorgeous castle but it has loads of fun stuff and events

There are loads of other nice castles, The Tower of London, Pembroke Castle, Edinburgh Castle - they're everywhere (literally) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castles_in_...

but i'd recommend you go to Camelot! It's far more light-hearted than any castle but it's virtually all King Arthur type medieval-themed, they have Knights that joust, tonnes of rides (scary and nice) and it's a really fun day out - perfect for your birthday!http://www.camelotthemepark.co.uk/

    Have fun! x*x
