Question:

Mediterranean House Geckos and Green Anoles?

I'm just wondering has anyone ever successfully kept these two species together

  1. Where I live, the native anole, and the nonnative house gecko seem to get along quite well, at least around my house.  The geckos come out at night to eat, and the anoles during the day time.  I haven't seen any that looked sick and most house geckos in the trade now are caught in Fla or the locality where they are sold.

  3. actually i have kept the two together they didn't really seem to bother each other..  

  4. I have a Salamander and a House Gecko so im guessing they will be just fine. Good Luck!

  5. I would lean towards yes since both species are not usually aggressive.  I would just use some caution and monitor them periodically.

  6. personally i think that the risk of incompatible bacteria/disease and parasites is too high they are from different geological ranges and the people answering dont seem to have a good knowledge of why u shouldnt mix species and non of them have said they have actually seen it done successfully
