Been to Sousse Tunisia and stayed in Marhaba Palace for two weeks in early AUgust this month!

It was great! Hot and friendly and clean!

Sousse (a lot of people think of Port el Kantaoui) is great because it offers lovely beaches but is still very much a bustling city with lots of shopping, food, and fun. The famous authentic medina is a UNESCO site

I have just got back from a week in that hotel, it was nice. Not many english people in the hotel when we were there, mostly french. Did not eat any of the food in the hotel so can't comment on that.  The staff were very friendly and are always happy to help. The rooms are kept very clean and the maid comes round every day. Pool area is quite big and they had water aerobics and water polo every day, entertainment staff there for the most of the day.  One downfall of it is, if you are sitting by the pool you need to pay 2Dinars each for the sunbeds, which is not a lot but it's something which i personally expected to be free!  It is really really hot at the minute so be prepared for that as well.  All in all though I did have a good week there, hope you enjoy it.
