Mediterranean...?

Are there any ports located in the Mediterranean that require special medical preparations (immunizations, etc.) or do not allow Americans to enter?

I have been on two cruises to the Mediterranean, the last of which was this past November, and we did not need any immunizations.  We were advised to be sure that we had a hepatitis vaccination, but no one checked to see if we had.   In the two cruises we had port stops in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Gibralter, and Morrocco.  Neither were we denied entry at any of the ports.

But if you are going on your cruise to these and/or some other ports and want to be sure you can look on the web site for the Center for Disease Control:  http://www.cdc.gov/

Then if you want to know about countries that you should not go to US State Dept's web site and look at travel advisories:
