Meeting the guy's mom and sister.....hostess gift idea?

Tomorrow I am meeting the guy that I'm seeings mom and sister for his sisters 24th birthday. I don't know much about either of them, so I'm not sure what to bring. I really hate to show up empty handed..........

A bag of assorted chocolates and sweets wrapped up in a soft transparent paperish bag would be nice.

wine is always a good choice.  if there is a reason not to bring alcohol, a candle arrangement, or flowers are a good idea.

a box of chocolates or a nice bottle of wine if they drink and simple birthday card should be plenty = )
