Mei h*i Chiang enthrals Petya Nedelcheva in title match of 2012 Yonex Welsh International
Women’s Singles shuttler Mei h*i Chiang played impeccable badminton and reserved the top spot on the victory stand of Yonex Welsh International after beating Petya Nedelcheva on December 2, 2012.
This title match proved the best encounter of this tournament as it kept both contenders head-to-head for one hour.
Petya Nedelcheva, who was the hot favourite in this International Challenge, could not live up to her billing and faced a 1-2 defeat.
On the other hand, the Taipei campaigner performed beyond expectations and finished this hard fought tussle with a favourable result of 19-21, 21-19 and 21-17.
The local badminton arena of Cardiff was filled to its brim as a huge crowd gathered to encourage both finalists.

Mei h*i looked completely on song in the latter part of the game as she cornered her challenger and registered a winning margin of 21-19.
The decider kept the audience intact until the final moments as both contenders put a commendable show of badminton craft.
They snapped at each other’s heels and remained close on the points table all the way to game point situation.
Finally, this cliff-hanging tussle concluded when Mei h*i smacked her opponent with a staggering knock of 21-17.
