Real Betis boss, Pepe Mel, has revealed that his team is aiming to secure a spot in the Europa League this season.
Betis have had a fine start to the Primera Division this season. They have managed to put together a feat of results that placed them in the top five positions of the league.

The tactician stated that securing a place in Europa League is their main goal and that is only what is occupying their head at the moment.
“We want to achieve our goals, that is all we are concerned with. And that is the Europa League, that's what we're really worried about.”
The Spaniard gave his thoughts on his side’s upcoming encounter with Celta Vigo and the threat they pose to his men.
The former Rayo Vallecano coach commented on the impressive progress Zaragoza have made since last season.
“We know them well. They had a good season last term and have deservedly climbed up the table this year.”

The 49-year-old concluded his remarks on the struggle his city rivals, Sevilla, are going through at the moment. Although the run of poor results by Sevilla is good for their neighbours, Mel made it clear that Betis don’t have any grudge against them.
“I understand that for our fans it is good news, but in the locker room we do not have a particular grudge with Sevilla.”
Real Betis are currently on the 6th position with 25 points.
