Question:

Melbourne Bad Dining Experiences?

I'm keen to know if there are any bad restaurants in the Melbourne area, as the critics here only talk about the good ones. I've never had a bad meal here, but then I've never had a really good one either, apart from the Flower Drum.

  1. Beeing new to Melbourne a few years ago

My daughter and i headed of to Lechardt street,

looking of course for the grand Italian Reataraunt

having no idea how large this street is , how much

we should have really walked or where, we kind of

gave up by the 4 th or 5th restaraunt that looked

or seemed Italian by the menu, appearance and

    workers / management there !

The food was mediocre nothing to  write home about

no sweets to be made a big fuss of as, true Italian

restaraunt really know how to make .  And the price , yes

could have been a little more reasonable.

    I'm sorry i can't give you the name, because i don't

remmember it, but exept the inside was all face brick

(red brick) and made to look like , different nooks, with

lots of different picture's and soccer/footy memorabilia

    on the walls!

Now if you have improved......that's something to talk

about !  As a restaraunt if i was to say something to you

now, that is it doesn't matter how many years ago , we have

been back three times and ....You know with each customer

you have the one chance reall y   to make that impression.

The last few times to Melbourne .....we have been busy

returning to places that gave us good service and a good

deal. And happily parted with our money there, not to mention

i work in a large Hospital and we are constantly giving each

other tips what and where to see and go on holidays !

So no, i don't feel i lost out from that experience......we can

clearly see here who the looser was!
