Melbourne Renegades vs Perth Scorchers – Big Bash League – Match Update
The Renegades have posted a mammoth 188 on the board against Perth Scorchers as they look to register their first win of the inaugural KFC Big Bash League, currently being played at the Docklands Stadium, Melbourne, December 22, 2011.

However, the other end saw runs flowing with Finch greeting Collingwood with a mammoth deep cover six before guiding the next ball to the third man boundary. The much needed wicket was evidently provided by Hogg, who cleaned up Finch as the player fell just one run short of his half-century.
That feat was achieved by the Renegades skipper as he lofted http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Michael-Beer-c1949 straight over his head to bring up a deserved fifty. He perished on the very next ball, failing to execute a similar shot and as the ball was nicely held by the deep mid-wicket fielder.
With medium pacers going for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Glenn-Maxwell-c60189 clobbered him for three sixes in a row as the Renegades moved closer to the 150-run mark.
Maxwell (31 off 15) however, was departed in the next over off Beer but it did little to stem the flow of runs as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Abdul-Razzaq-c41623 added quick fire cameos to ensure the team posted a healthy 188 on the board.
It included a massive six from the bat of Reardon which went into the second tier while http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Razzaq-c84421 finished the innings in style by hitting the final ball to the mid-on boundary for a maximum.
