Melbourne clubs...do they scan ids?

Question

Hi, doing some research for school.Wondering whether anyone has been to Pogo, Eurotrash, Boutique, Valve, Prince etc. Do they use I.d. scanners or do they do a quick look to check DOB?? also, are they more lenient with girls than guys???

i dont think anywhere in melbourne scans them

just look at the date of birth

if they are hesitant they might ask your star sign or signature or something tricky haha or ask for backup id like bank card or anything with your name on it

and im not sure if they are more lenient

i think they would be if you were dressed up all pretty and wih a group of you

always more lenient with girls than guys. usually it's a quick look and they will ask for id if they have doubts. pretty much everywhere, not just at those venues
