I want to mix peanut butter, chocolate drink powder with skim milk. I have tried melting the peanut in the microwave, but it gobs up when I mix into the milk. Any suggestion how to mix peanut butter into cold milk? I do not have a blender either.

  1. That is sick nasty!!!!! Your weird!

  2. Try melting the peanut butter into the milk on top of the stove or in the microwave, allow to cool then add the chocolate drink powder.

Just be careful heating the milk, dairy products tend to create huge messes if they boil over.

  3. i just threw up in my mouth

  4. Sounds interesting. Try using a pan over heat rather than a microwave to heat it up. You can control the heat and can melt it slowly so that it's all runny. From there just mix up the chocolate and milk and then add the peanut butter.

  5. I doubt you'll get the peanut butter thin enough to mix in, I mean even when I melt it for baking whether I'm melting it with butter or even evaporated milk, it stays fairly thick.

Your best bet may be to get some low fat ice milk (ice cream) and blend it into a milk shake with the skim milk, chocolate powder and peanut butter----Hey!  That actually sounds Good!!!!

  6. Mixing peanut butter into cold milk is hard. I use a combo of peanut butter softened in milk for a fudge recipe, and this is the way I do it:

Put a little bit of the milk, maybe half a cup, into a glass measuring cup along with the peanut butter. Microwave for about 1-2 minutes. Stir the mixture until it blends, and pour it into your drinking glass. Add the chocolate drink powder and the rest of the (cold) milk. If it's too warm to drink you might add an ice cube or two.

  7. Uhm, then probably you have to keep mixing it with whisk for a few minutes.

  8. put the p.butter into a bowl then add a little milk and mix till its thin. then keep doing this!

  9. i don't think you could do that with peanut butter because of the milk being cold.

  10. I have done this before and it tastes awesome.  Definitely satisfies a peanut butter craving.  You REALLY need a blender.  If you don't have a blender, you could try a shaking it up in a sealed container.  Or you could put it into a pitcher and whip it really well with a whisk.  I would only use peanut butter that is at room temperature, not warmed or refrigerated.  Good luck!

  12. Instead, heat the peanut butter on the stove on low heat, stirring often.  You may need to add a little water to get it to the melted consistency that you want.  Enjoy!

  13. Maybe try adding the milk to it just a little at a time then mixing it in, then adding a bit more milk.

Works for adding other stuff to liquid so go for it!!

  14. You're going to have to do it warm, peanutbutter solidifies when it goes into cold milk. So yeah, either warm milk, in which case it'll melt, or blender. Also, if you have a blender (and no issues with calories!) try it with a snickers bar or 2, AMAZING :)

  15. Melt the peanut butter a little in the microwave, stir in a little milk to thin it, once you have that milk mixed in add a little more and stir that in.  The key it to add the milk a little at a time and mix it in before adding more milk.
