I've never been and would like to know what you think of the place?

Would it be a nice choice for a birthday or anniversary?

  1. It is nice, but if you are going for the romantic touch, I think you should buy the fondue set, cut up all the meat and veggies and have it ready for your spouse.  It will be a lot cheaper and they probably would appreciate it more.

  2. I've never been there, but I am going there with my French Club and it is supposed to be very very good.  It is a bit on the pricey side.

  3. The melting pot here in new mexico is pretty nice. Very romantic for those special times. i went for my anniversary with my ex and valentines day its so cool on valentines day they have a special with  a bottle of wine they take a picture that you get to keep and a roses. its about 2 1/2 hours for the whole dinner and dessert... hope you have a good time

Ps. its a dress up place... very classy,,

  4. I liked it. Nice for a special occasion but very pricey in my opinion.

  5. if you want to impress someone.....this is the place to do it !!!!!

  6. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Is on the medium to high price scale though. Great environment too.

  7. The Melting Pot is one of my absolute favorite restaurants and everyone I've ever taken there has loved it too!  And it's pretty consistent at different locations (I'm in PA).  Make sure to save room for the chocolate dessert, that's definitely the best part!  And don't be afraid to ask for substitutions, extras, etc. , they are very accommodating.

  8. This is a fantastic place.  The whole concept of fondue and making is fashionable.  You can do indivual fondues or you can do one of whole meals.  I would suggest if you are going to go, go all out.  Go for the four course fondue and salad and a beautiful wine.  The wine selection at the location that I dine is very nice.  I would not have a party more then six, and dinner for two is very nice and enjoyable.  If you are in a hurry do not go.  It will take you about 2 1/2 - 4 hours, but the time flies.

I extremely suggest going, especially if you love having fun with food.

  9. I love the melting pot. The food is great and service is top notch every time me and my hubby ate there.   It would be a nice place for a quiet gathering with just you and your sweetie.  The Melting Pot is not a place for a large group. Always be sure to make reservations.  The melting pot by my house is always busy on the weekends.  Also, make sure you allow lots of time.  To get through all of the courses, it takes at least 2- 2.5 hrs.  My hubby and I eat there every chance we get!
