  1. I have been wanting to go to Medieval Times with my kids since forever and have finally made the reservations so I cannot comment other than I have heard it is fun.  The melting pot is good but so over priced.  I would recommend a stay at home night, with a new fondue maker, and find recipes on line for any type of fondue you want: Cheese, Meat, Seafood and Chocolate.  It's a keeper for future entertaining, I have had many fondue dinner parties and they are always so much fun because the time it takes is so long that you can't help but drinking, talking and having fun. Lastly, you and your girlfriend will have so much fun doing the fondue yourself, it's sort of like foreplay.  Enjoy!

  2. Melting Pot. Be sure you go for the desert, as well.

  3. Depends on the mood that you are going for...

    Melting Pot is romantic

Medieval Times is a ton of fun though! Went there the first time my girl met my family and we all had a blast!

  4. For an anniversary definitely Melting Pot.  Medieval Times is fun to go to with your friends.

  5. Melting Pot is overated IMO.  I went there once and now we call it the Melting Wallet because it was expensive for having to cook the food yourself.  Also the smell from the boiling oils and cheeses stinks up your clothes.  If you are really intent on going make sure to get the desert fondue...it's killer.

Personally, I would always choose Medieval Times.  You get yummy eats and a terrific show.  Plus they take pictures you can save for posterity.  Your girl can even get a flower from a Knight if you are close enough to the ring.

    Have fun!

  6. Melting Pot.  A little more romantic than smelling horse manure at dinner.
