  1. I've only been to the Melting Pot once with some friends; it's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it. The food is great and it's a great social get-together. I'm looking forward to taking my man there on a date. Great atmosphere too.

  2. My experience there was very good- my bf, at the time,

took me there for our 1 year anniversary.

The atmosphere is very nice- and the wait staff was wonderful!

They even took a picture of us before we left the restaurant. lol

    The food was excellent...

For just the two of us it was over $90.

I thought it was worth it- very memorable. (:

  3. Melting Pot is awsome!  Is it worth the expense I would say yes but they are always running specials and they are always running coupons on the internet and such so really you should never have to pay full price.  We have a little tradition of going once a year and its usually a 3 hour meal so definatly go with someone you can just sit there and talk to for hours!

  4. it's good I have had better it's fun but if your starving it's not a good thing since you have to cook one or two pieces of meat and food at a time but it's worth trying have fun

  5. omigosh,do it !!! the melting pot is AWESOME!!! fun and delicious.more food than u can even eat,so pace urself and ask for a take-home box.but it is fun and romantic for dates, also good for friends birthday parties.have fun!worth it totally!( im assuming u meant going to the melting pot fondue restaurant, not just buying a fondue pot for home.but thats fun, too.)

  6. Personally, yes, it is definately worth the cost and the time.  we go on occasion, not an every week type of thing, but we usually spend about three hours there, just enjoying the food, the fun and the conversation.  It is a very social thing and the variety is great.  We normally do one of the specials that they are running, and since we also host fondue parties at home, it is nice to have someone else do the cooking.

Also, they make the majority of the fondue in front of you and I make mental notes of different items to incorporate into my own fondue recipies and dippers.

Definately worth it, and often, you can find coupons on line or their website for a free chocolate fondue dessert for two.  Be sure to make a reservation if you go as you tend to spend a lot of time there.

  7. I LOVE IT!!!

It's an experience on top of dining...it's not like Denny's where you go to chow down...it's more of a place you go with a date or a friend you want to catch up on information with.  It's interactive and allows you to use your hands (and not fidget on that 1st date!!!)

It is expensive, and even though I got full on their food (and I am a thick girl!), some people say they are still hungry.

Go to www.yelp.com and look at the reviews!

    Have fun

  8. Often after Christmas you will see them go on sale...and you see them at all different prices anyway.  Whether you get your monies worth depends on how much you use them...some people purchase them and then they just sit and gather dust..some have several recipes and use them a couple of times a month or more.  I enjoy fondu in the winter..and the fruits dipped in chocolate fondu are fun for parties.

    * I am sorry..I thought you meant purchasing one..but I have been there as well and it is excellent and in fact was why I purchased my own fondue "melting" pot :)
