There are at least two people in this family who have married (non European) spouses from minority groups.

(1) Lady Davina Windsor (currently #22 in the line) married a Maori builder from New Zealand. Her father is HRH Prince Richard, the Duke of Gloucestor (first cousin to the Queen) and lives in Kensington Palace where he performs royal duties.

(2) James Lascelles (currently #44 ), married an African woman from Nigeria (his 3rd marriage). James is the queen's 2nd cousin and his mother is Princess Mary, The Princess Royal (deceased).

Why is everyone saying it has never happened? There are 35 people in Prince Williams generation (brother, 1st, 2nd & 3rd cousins) and only Peter Philips is married. Don't you think some of them will marry non-Europeans?
