Do i need to be a member of costco to pick up a pizza? I was told by 3 people in management that i'm not allowed to enter the costco without a membership... which means i can't pick up my pizza either. Some costcos have restaurants outside of the warehouse so i didn't understand... is this discrimination?

  1. They should let you in.. You do not need to be a member to use the pharmacy.  (at least you don't in Illinois)

The Costco's by me all have the Baked pizza place by the exit that happens to be by the membership desk.  Try going in through the exit area.

  2. You have to be a member. Costco is a member only establishment, that isn't discrimination.

I pay my membership every year. Why can't you do the same? Why should you be able to get the same yummy pizza and pizza deal (its super cheap) as I do when I fork over the little 40 dollar fee once a year?

It is not discrimination.. they are not stopping you from joining their club they are stopping you from using the benefits of a club without paying for it. (that would be like a golf course saying.. oh you can eat at our members only restaurant without being a member)

Don't be so cheap.. get a dang card and then you won't have this issue. Many costco's not only make you use a card to get in.. you also have to show the card when you go pay for it.

  3. You have to be a member to go in.  No, that isn't discrimination as long as they will allow you to pay and join.

  4. no, as long as you let them know you're just picking up a pizza, they will probably escort you and you can pick it up.  the only thing is if you're not a member, and the pizza is inside, you will not be able to pay for it without a membership card
