Membership?

Question

I set my group as Open & yet, people are getting a message that says they have to be a part of the group to look at my messages & photos.

Why is that? & how do I change it so that Anyone can look at the messages & photos????????

you can open the archives/ messages but they'd have to be members to view the photo's. the only area's that will be public is archives, links and calendar, nothing else of a group can be made public

management- under group settings click messages- Postings and Archives (edit) <-- click the edit- scroll to archive options and select anyone- click save changes.
