Memorable meals? - what, where and when.?

In April 2006 my daughter and grandson were in Provincetown, Cape Cod, USA with me on a cold wet day. Being out of season most places were closed but we found an empty coffee shop and sat at a window table. The two guys made us banana pancakes with maple syrup and kept the excellent coffee coming until we warmed up. We must have looked as if we were enjoying it as in no time the place began to fill up.

We had bigger and more expensive meals on our holiday from the UK but this was undoubtedly the most memorable because it was just what we needed at the time and was first class.

We ate at this little seafood resturant in Martha's Vineyard one summer and they were just getting ready to close but they stayed open just for us and it was just the two of us sitting by the ocean eating a simple candlelit meal of coconut shrimp and french fries.

Last Summer in Normandy in a bistro called Le Desembarquement, the most superb Moules Marinieres with chips (Moules Frites) and crusty baguette washed down with Muscadet. It cost hardly anything and was one of the best meals I've ever had.

I ate dinner with the queen and I must say I wasn't that impressed not enough on my plate.

I think I have a memorable meal every Friday when I allow myself a Chinese sweet and sour as I diet all week lol

A memorable meal I had was when, I had a picnic at the beach with my best freinds,Khrista and Christa. It was around 7:30 and 8:00. We were all looking at the waves, and big tides. It was really cool!
