Memorex DVD+R is not being read on the D drive.?

Question

i have a 50 memorex DVD+R cds. there 4.7gbs recordables.

when i put them in and i go to the D drive nothing is there. is says 0 free and 0 used.

whats wrong?

Are you sure your DVD recorder can read +R media?

The DVD+R and DVD-R are competing formats much like the old VHS and Beta formats in video tapes. Today most drives are Hybrid and handle both formats. They are usually labeled DVD+/-R but if yours isn't recognizing +R blanks it might be worth trying a -R.
