i know this sounds crazy, but bare with me.

the majority of my memories (especially the 2 near death experiences i've had) i can only remember from another perspective. usually i'm looking at myself from a higher up position out of the area. just wondering if anyone else has had this or had heard of it... thanks.

  1. obe (out of body experiences), yes i've had them several times.

not recently to the best of my recollection, but  i may well have more.

can't say i especially like them, but i do accept them when they occure.

  2. OBE or out of body experience is said to be when the soul leaves the body for a brief moment, many on the operating table and have been announced dead or on the scene while someone tries to give CPR trying to bring them back. Many have told in detail what was happening saying they were watching everything from above looking down. It seems to be a pretty common thing in situations like these. Personally it has never happened to me.

I was shot and died for two minutes and was brought back but I do not remember anything. I won't say this kind of thing can't happen just because it didn't appear to work for me because there are way too many variables in life to predict what happens in death.

  3. Yes, I know of the near death experiences, although I haven't had to deal with that. From the time I was 6y/o until after I'd graduated high school, I had out of body experiences (astro-projection). I've had some scary experiences while doing it, so it convinced me that it's nothing to play with. Still over 20 years later, it occassionally tries to come on, I have to fight it. But yeah, it's really weird though to experience.

  4. In the case of OBE (Out of Body Experiences) which sometimes occur during NDE (Near Death Experiences) it would be normal to recall these events from a different perspective as that was your perspective at the time of the experience. This is perfectly normal.

While many OBE's are very subjective some have produced  verfiable information. The leading theory is this is some sort of ESP not the soul or spirit actually leaving the body.

However, I am confused when you say you remember the majority of your memories from this perspective. Do you recall say your 14th birthday, your graduation, etc. from this out of body perspective? Some people in tragic snd stressful situations (say a horrifying car accident) recall from this above perspective as it seems to help them not relive the experience and distance themselves from the trauma.

  5. Yes, there is a good account of this "out of body experience" happening as related by a famous magician who experienced it first hand. Please see the link below. You may have to scroll a bit to get to the story, but the whole thing is a good read. It is an excerpt from the book, "Lives of the Psychics".

  6. this is very common. A part of the brain keeps our perseption within ourselves; if this part lacks oxygen (common near death or sometimes in sleep) we feel as if we are outside ourselves looking down at ourselves or the situation. It is a purely physical phenomenon

  7. yes it's called OBE,and similar experiences reported by people in near death experiences too, does not sounds crazy

but un-common ...and how about those near death experiences some people might call it Resurrection

  8. it sounds like an out of body experience. It is common especially in near death situations or during deep meditation to step outside of the physical body. A lot of new age books have more information on this.

  9. That is very common.   NDE's are really universal, even people in 3rd world countries  have reported similar experiences.
