Memory card locked. Just got a canon sd750 last week, working fine and then today it started

Just got a canon sd750 last week, working fine and then today it started displaying message 'card locked'. I checked the card and it is not in the lock position. Even tried a different memory card and still saying card locked! Any suggestions?
