Question:

Memory foam or latex? bedding?

i want to buy a new matress (uk) and latex and memory foam tops are on offer but i am worried about heat as i already sleep hot and would prefer it cool as possible...any suggestions to the least heat producing material please? or maybe a chillo matress, i have a pillo...

  1. Too bad water beds are out of style they were the best of ice cube sleeping.  I like memory foam better than latex.


  2. Personally, I have no experience with latex.  Actually, I didn't even know they made latex mattresses.  That's kinda kinky.

    I have a memory foam top for my mattress.  I can honestly say it doesn't make me any more "hot" when I sleep.  I have pretty bad allergies, so I have the entire mattress+foam top encased in a allergen proof zip up thing.  A lot of those foam tops come with zip cases that you can encase them in so it isn't like you are sleeping on something hot and foamy all night.

    Just put a nice silky/satiny fitted sheet over it - try to stay away from full cotton blends - that keeps me cooler.
