Memory problem with Firefox. What to do?

Question

Sometimes, seemingly at random, Firefox will begin to absolutely devour memory while running (I'm talking over 100,000 K). I don't quite know what's causing this or how to fix it. Sorry I can't be more specific than that. I'm using Ver. 3.0.1

Any suggestions?
