Memory that is compatible with dell dim. 3000?

here is the documention from dell's site. the customer service people suck so i figured i would try some smarter people online. but i digress. i just need to know what pc number is compatible. i see 333 and 400 mhz and ddr sdram but i look online and i see both pc3200 and pc2700. are they both compatible? what is the difference?

    PC3200 and PC2700 are both compatible because PC3200 has the capability to operate the PC2700 clock speeds.

    So if you see a PC3200 or PC2700 memory module, it should work. The best practice though is to install matching pairs.
