29 December vs. Sacramento Kings
The prolific power forward Zach Randolph truly had an impressive night with the ball at the ARCO Arena when he thrashed the lowly Sacramento Kings with his flawless shooting. The star of the night, Zach racked up a sizzling game-high 35 points and clutched
17 rebounds to spearhead the Grizzlies for a thrilling 100-98 win.
In a game when the remaining Grizzlies failed to lend massive support against the aggressive charge of the opposition, Zach proved his ability to win it single-handedly. Despite of a great fight back from the Kings, Randolph crushed their brilliant efforts
for a breathtaking victory.
4 January vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
The spirited Oklahoma City Thunder arrived at the FedEx Forum to face off the resurgent Memphis Grizzlies. The leading scorer of the league, Kevin Durant and the vigorous Russell Westbrook headed out with their formidable play and racked up 28 points apiece
for the Thunder. However in the lights of the superstar Randolph, the Grizzlies outshined the Oklahoma City for an enthralling 110-105 victory.
Zach took the charge against the two best players in the National Basketball Association and landed a game-high 31 points with 16 boards. He scored 13 points of his 31 in the final quarter and outperformed Durant and Westbrook’s play to seal a magnificent
win.
12 January vs. Detroit Pistons
The sharp-shooter Randolph had another top scoring night at the Palace of Auburn Hills as the Memphis Grizzlies snapped their two games losing streak. He notched up 34 points and gathered 17 rebounds to overshadow the Detroit Pistons at their home court
for a brilliant 107-99 victory.
After a slow start, Zach took the possession of the ball aggressively in the second half of the game, leaving few options for the home team to gain any sort of momentum. He scored 24 points after half-time to spearhead the Grizzlies for an outstanding win.
1 April vs. New Orleans hornets
The Grizzlies solidified their postseason chances after a comprehensive 93-81 victory over the New Orleans Hornets followed by a smashing performance form their spirited forward Zach Randolph. The veteran Randolph racked up a game-high 28 points and clutched
10 rebounds to put the Grizzlies on the front-line. On the verge of clinching a play-off berth, the Memphis showed great aggression with their dazzling performer Randolph leading the team.
8 April vs. Sacramento Kings
Zach Randolph buried a number of free throws in the defining moments of the game to outshine the struggling Sacramento Kings as the Memphis Grizzlies clinched their first play-off berth in five years.
Memphis’ guard Tony Allen said after the game, “I could go on all day telling y'all what was going on in my head at the time. For the most part, I was just happy. ... We just have a great group of guys around us. For the most part, we are where we want to
be, and it's on us to continue this journey."
Randolph finished the night with 27 points and 15 boards to dominate the Kings for a crucial 101-96 victory as the night ended in high spirits for the Grizzlies’ fans.
17 April vs. San Antonio Spurs
The first-round playoff game between the Western Conference foes Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs depicted a startling turnaround. The All-Star Randolph played one of his best games to outplay the leading team in the East in a very crucial game. Zack
racked up a game-high 25 points and gathered 14 rebounds to overshadow the streaking Spurs for a magnificent 101-98 win.
The Grizzlies surprised San Antonio with a series of layups, 3-pointers and free throws in the defining moments of the game when the Spurs were leading with two points.
Memphis will be relying on their power forward Zach’s performance to win the remaining six meetings of a seven-game series to qualify for the second round.
