The Memphis Grizzlies displayed a brilliant team performance to overpower the San Antonio Spurs for an electrifying 104-86 victory in Game 4 of the National Basketball Association play-offs to lead the best of seven series 3-1 at the FedExForum on Monday
night.
Memphis cemented their chances of becoming the fourth eighth seeded team in the league to knock off the Number 1 seed in the post-season.
Mike Conley landed a game high 15 points and handed out 7 assists whereas the prolific forward Zach Randolph racked up 11 points and 9 rebounds to put Memphis on the frontline. Tony Parker racked up a game-high 23 points while Richard Jefferson had an absolute
nightmare as a starter and failed to score a point in more than 26 minutes of the time-play and the Spurs dropped their second straight game.
The visiting San Antonio romped with 16-11 run in the preliminary minutes of the first quarter to clinch an early advantage. On the verge of cutting down the deficit, Randolph surged with a number of free throws however the Spurs managed to lead the first
quarter 26-21.
