Memphis Man likely to thrive in A1 420m Flat
The P. Braithwaite trained black dog, Memphis Man, is keen to complete his second hat-trick by winning the A1 420m Flat at Peterborough racecourse on Wednesday night, August 8.
The two-year-old novice runner will take on four worthy competitors after breaking from Trap 6. If wins, he will bring home the cash prize worth £98.
The brilliant son of Head Bound out of Airport Boss started his career in May 31, 2012. From June 21 to July 11, he marvellously won three races in a row. Two were T3 events while one was an A4 contest. These victories exposed the dashing dog’s class and
capabilities well.
The maverick hound moved on to win the A2 420m Flat at Peterborough on July 25. Thriving without the favourite tag was a big achievement for the dog. The enthusiastic sprinter nicely finished first in his last start named as Windy City Stakes.
Now, Memphis Man is all set to complete his hat-trick and, for this purpose, he will run to his best. If he manages to make an accurate use of his capabilities and form, he will have more than 90 percent chances to finish first tonight.
However, Jazz Apple Blue can prove to be a big threat for Memphis Man. The David Pruhs trained blue dog elegantly bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs during the last month.
The one was A2 420m Flat while the other was A1 420m Flat. These two tremendous triumphs spiked up the hound’s confidence level to a great extent. The dashing dog moved ahead to finish as the runner-up in the A1 420m Flat on July 21.
The talented son of Droopys Maldini out of Droopys Quiff nicely finished 3rd in his last outing named as A1 420m Flat. That race was held on August 1.
In this situation, there is likely to take place a fierce battle between Memphis Man and Jazz Apple Blue. This thrilling contest will attract a large number of the race lovers to the venue.
So let us enjoy the live action tonight and see who manages to thrive. Good luck to all the six hounds.
