or women who say they will call me but never did. Or the time in high school when I found out the only reason a girl asked for my number was because she had a crush on my older brother.

This happens ALL the time.  Men just don't b*tch about it so it's not published online much.  Thus the phrase "women are a fickle creature."  Or something like that.  It stings. Ask any woman who has been rejected.

EDIT: I agree with what the answer above me said. I'm pretty sure it's more common than people think but guys tend not to dwell and cry about it like most women do. I know a few guys who were "played" by women but they got over it easily and moved on.

i think we all have, it could be changing a tire, giving a ride without getting gas money, its in our nature to get ourselves in situations where women play us; and some are good at it. now i am by no means a lame, but any body who tells you they haven't been, either has never left the house or lying.

True story.

I was talking to a stripper once (in a gentlemen's club), and she we were getting along fairly well. She seemed to like me so when she said that I should meet her at a nearby hotel the next Tuesday I thought it was a charm she couldn't resist.

now I know what you're thinking. "Bastian is a complete idiot," but I'll have you know I only sat in that parking lot for an hour or two before I realized that I was in fact a complete @$$.

all the time.  it's a chick's nature to play us nice dudes for suckers.  chicks use us to lift furniture, help them move, setup their computers and dvd players, give them rides to/from the airport and console them when their "bad boy" boyfriends cheat on them or dump them.  what do we get out of it?  something like "oh dude, you're such a good FRIEND!"
