I was going to ask "Men, have you ever lost to a woman or girl on purpose just because she was a girl?" Have you ever felt sorry for these girls who try really hard and sorta fail, so you take pity on them? Women and girls, has this ever happened to you? How did you feel when or even IF this would happen?

  1. I've had men challenge me (sports and video games for example) and then get ANGRY when they lose.

  2. I have actually. At pool.

Now just to set the matter straight, this doesn't mean there are no ladies who can't beat me at pool. (You have to qualify your statements on here).

  3. I've had to pull my punches in sports with men all my life.  My mother used to scowl at me after I'd beat my brothers in a race or whatever and say, "Does that make you feel better?"  She didn't think a woman should win in games with men because men have such fragile egos. Once, I trained with my big brother to compete in a wild and woolly cross country race up in Alaska for kids.  He and I were sure to win.  The day of the competition, though, I found out humans with female genitalia were not allowed in the event.  I was so hurt.  So, what I did was literally run circles around my brother the entire way, just to give him moral support, of course.  At the end of the race, there was my mother.  "Did that make you feel better?"  YES!  I did that kind of stuff a lot in the Army, too.

  4. Haha I think a lot of it, like Gun fanatic is wishful thinking.

  5. Yes I have lost on purpose. It usually if they are a poor sport about playing. I don't have fun playing the game with them and I may loose just to end it.

Optionally, if I am playing a person (man or woman) who is not very good, I may practice more difficult technigues and make the game somewhat of a practice session. But not if it means the game will last too long. When I do this I have both lost and won games.

  6. What are you talking about, Bryan?

You didn't let me win nothing!

I beat you fair and square!

  7. Yep, once

    Video games

  8. Only with my g/f(ex) I do a lot of hiking so if we went together we would have the "last one to the top of the hill buys drinks at the end, bet" I could have sprinted ahead and won easily, but it's much more fun trying to stop each other getting to the top.
