  1. No it doesn't.

  2. No... I would only feel uncomfortable if she made a big deal about it.

I agree with "Hey there" above. If her head gets big she's GONE. And she can take her money with her.

  3. The problem with this is that, when a woman mentions that she makes a certain amount, it becomes bragging.  Look at Donald Trump.  If he was a female with that much money with such an overblown ego, he'd be shut down in a second.

Just curious, why all the thumbs down?  It's a basic question.

  4. Only insecure men would be uncomfortable with that, but i agree with Hey There, most men wont mind if their partner makes more money then them, but if they're boasting about it that would be annoying and childish.

  5. nope.

  6. Well, right now, my plan is to be a teacher.  Teachers here don't make c**p ($34,000 a year, and this is one of the more well-off counties in the state), so I kind of HOPE my wife will make more money than me.  Question is, would they put up with me making less money than them?  I can't honestly think of very many relationships I know of where the man makes more than the woman, so it does make me wonder.

  7. As long as we don't harrass them about it then I bet most men are ok with it.

  8. Ummmmm...... well just don't rub it in. And I'll be alright.

    :)

  9. Yes I would! it would make me feel like less of a man!

  10. Nope , I have dated a few who have , just means we can go nicer places.

  11. nope

  12. If anything it would make me want to Make more then her.. to better MYSELF.. not just sit and be jealous.

  13. Nope.

But if it made her arrogant and uppity, I would drop her like a bad habit.

  14. Not at all if she does make more money then me she probably works alot harder and smarter then me

  15. Usually, this is not the appropriate question.  The question is; would most men feel uncomfortable if everyone (including her parents) knew that she made more than him.  The answer is probably yes almost unequivocally.  Just like if you walk into a room with bad breath, part of you has to think people are judging you badly.  Just my two cents.
