Usually I just aim for someplace on the urinal where its quiet and wont splash.

i hit the sides so it flows around the bowl quietly with minimal splash and minimal sound.  my girlfriend always complains about me waking her up when i pee in the center of her toilet.....

i hate urinals b/c of the potential for splashback
