I think men see pornography simply as a tool for sexual release. Nothing more, nothing less.

Some women do also. Certainly not me, though! ;)

What the h**l does "seeing someone as an object" even mean? I'm an object, you are an object, we are all objects. We are in a special class of objects called living beings and in a special class of living beings called humans.

I also don't view s*x as "man using the woman" that is more or less implied in much of feminist discourse, and find such a view incredibly insulting and sexist. For me s*x is always a mutual and willing exchange of pleasure and good feelings (potentially within an emotional bond called love), nothing more, nothing less. p**n is nothing more than women displaying their sexuality for money and men paying to be aroused by this sexuality. Tis really that simple.

I've never experienced thinking of anyone as merely an object. Always a person, maybe a person I want to exploit but still a person.

I think that 'objectify' is a silly term. You'd have to be retarded or insane not to be able to tell the difference between an object and a person. It's different from a lack of empathy or perhaps my understanding of the word is flawed.

It's pure and simply visual stimulation for me and something used when I want to m********e or help me. It doesn't effect my views on women and is just what I described simply, but then again I am sane too.
