It did not help me because of a basic flaw in the entire premise: BOTH partners are willing to do something about it.

If one partner will not read the book or listen to your entreaties or follow the guidelines, I might as well have  "Pilgrim's Progress" next to me on the bookshelf, for all the good it doesn't do.

It is a book based on fact and history. We came from somewhere didn't we? Of course. Look in the mirror and you will see some resemblences to your family members, true? Now go look in a book about planets. sEE HOW THE SURFACE LOOKS AND LOOK IN THE MIRROR AGAIN. You will notice the shape is quite similar to your face. We are pond scum says Darwin but to take it to another level I would say we are created similar to two sticks being rubbed together to get a spark to ignite a fire. Men were created from the surface of Mars and the Women from the surface in Venus (figurativly speaking that is). Meteors colliding together in reality. It is the reason men and women have that motion against each other to reproduce. We all go back to our primal instincts from where we came. It is the "big bang" theory. I hope you use this to help explain to your class and the path of knowledge will travel.

It is probably worth a read. The author makes some good points in the book. Plus, a little education and perspective on relationships can't hurt. Another book that may be interesting to you is Zen and the Art of Falling in Love.

I read it and yes it can be helpful but both parties need to be really ready to look at themselves and makes changes and stick with it.
