Question:

Men: has anyone ever made you feel violated?

What has someone done to violate you in some way? It doesn't have to be a terribly personal of an answer. One that you're comfortable enough giving. And did you do something to bring closure to whatever happened to you?

It'd be interesting to see the things that make men feel violated. I know that both genders can feel this, but I'm interested right now in the men.

Thx guys.

  1. Yes. And no Im sharing that thank you.

  2. Yes, I got groped by 2 girls in a side room of the state capitol building on a school trip (they were from another school somewhere else, never did know for sure where).  I was alone in the room with 5 girls who all knew each other.  The other 3 didn't really get involved, but they were basically condoning it.  I got out of there as fast as possible.  I probably should've told somebody, but really, what would they have done?  The girls would've just denied it and I would've looked like an idiot and a troublemaker.

I can't say I was warped by the experience or anything, but it was more than a little uncomfortable.

  3. absolutely. I paid income tax.

  4. You'll probably find that us blokes feel violated only when we cannot do anything about it. When we can; we will deal with it our way and never bring it up again.

  5. I agree with QOSBen. Any time a man feels out of control, he'll likely feel violated. This explains the sexual and theft stories above.

  6. 3 x Technics 1210s and a Pioneer DJM600 stolen from my house one night the weekend after a get together, most likely by one of the guests. The guy disappeared, he was in all sorts of trouble over other stuff. Closure? Well I replaced them. I felt violated by certain family laws a while ago, the violation was in having a smug opponent playing a system she knew was rigged in her favor, I felt better when I was able to turn the tables.

  7. Actually, just last weekend some a*****e jacked my custom snowboard from my garage.

I've had that board since i was 14, it has great value to me, not to mention its worth at least 500 bucks.

Now i'm gonna have to replace the freakin thing before snowboard season starts......

  8. I was partying with some friends this one time and they invited a couple of hookers over. My friend Nick gave the service 500 bucks for them. I was sitting around sipping Captain when Nick told one of them to jump on me like cowgirl. She said shes used to a 300 dollar tip at least. I told her to get lost. I felt really violated.

  9. I was at a movie store and saw a DVD in a bargain bin. It wasn't much of a bargain because it was overpriced but I had to get it anyway. I can't resist Captain Harlock. I felt violated for letting myself get ripped off.

    That's the only time.

  10. I had a bike stolen in Sturgis back in 02, saddle bags gear and all.

Left to ride 1800 mi home ,2 up on the old lady's Sportster.

    Yup, I felt violated.

In answer to the 2nd part of the question, I searched and offered rewards and knowing that very seldom is a stolen bike recovered , built a new ,better, prettier and faster bike , this one with lo-jack.
