Men seem to age better than women. Why is this?

I am obviously not talking about every single case. But generally speaking, men seem to age better than women at least from my observation. For example, a 30 year old man may be able to pass as an early 20 year old but a 30 year old woman usually is not able to do so. Women also seem to develop wrinkles at an earlier age than men. Women tend to show their age faster while men seem to be able to put it off (i.e seem younger) much easier.

Do you agree and why is this?

I'm not sure what the cause is, but I agree with you. Men tend to look more dignified as they age; women tend to just kind of look old.

I will admit, I've often wondered if the cosmetics a lot of women use aren't the cause of some of this premature aging. They see one little line, so they slap on tons of chemicals...I don't think it's a cosmetics company conspiracy, but there might be a link.

LESS stress.  Stats have shown that women have a harder life than men.

Yes, I totally agree with you! Believe it or not, one reason why you men age better and later than women is that you shave pretty often!

The moment you shave, you do an excellent peeling job on your skin!

Dead cells go away and yes, that helps a lot. That's why beauticians tell women to do peeling at least once a week. Wrinkles develop more slowly. I know it sounds silly, but it is the truth!
