Men think women change after living together...?

Question

why is that men want to blame realtionship issues on women changing after moving in togther? I am with someone who went from souhtern gentleman to control freak and it is annoying as h**l. So men it isn't always woman who change you guys do too.

I think that it is usually men that change. The old adage is that women marry a man thinking that she can change him and men marry a woman thinking that she will never change. I think that one of the biggest problems when a couple marries or lives together is that women seem to understand that it is a huge commitment to each other and it does change things. A lot of relationship struggle, especially early on while a wife/slash girlfriend waits for her man to mature a bit

truth is we both change after moving in together. some people take it to the extreme, but we all adapt different. this is one reason why i think you should live together before marriage, to kind of test the waters. not everyone is compatible to live together. don't think of your changing as a bad thing, but a life lesson you must learn. if you don't get it right this go around, you will have something to build from on your second go. if he is trying to control you, you need to put a stop to it before it gets out of hand. its easy for a man to become controlling, and hard to stop him. you know whats right, go with your gut.

my husband says the same thing...i have changed since kids and all....well i keep telling him you have become more lazy,more depressing,etc...and all that changed out me was getting depressed from his behavior...so yeah i agree

i don't think this is a question, but yea women and men can change its not always the woman, good point i guess, i thought it was obvious
