Ok Men if you were in a bad mood or lets just say not having a good day. What would you want your fiance/wife to do to put you in a better mood? Please give me some good ideas as my fiance is a bit angry about events in our life and I want to cheer him up and let him know how loved he is.

Please give me some help?

  1. I LOVE THE GIRL THAT GAVE THE FIRST ANSWER PLEASE LISTEN TO HER THANK YOU.

  2. yeah yeah i'm not a guy but I know the answer... B.J.

  3. Honestly...I would want my fiance/wife to leave me alone until the mood passed.  Of course, everyone is different.

  4. Fix him a cocktail, tell him you're there for him to help if you can, that you have each other and thats all that really matters, then answer a fantasy of his and take both your minds off it for a while.

  5. AH COM ON GIRL? YOU GOT DIS. I KNOW YOU GOT DIS...

  6. This is a very good question and it's very sweet of you to want to make him feel better.  I can tell already that he's a lucky man to have a woman who cares about him so much.  Unfortunately there aren't any answers that would work on all men (or all situations).  So I will tell you what would work for me.

If the "events in our life" that made me angry were my wife's fault, then all I would want is a sincere apology followed by a little space and time to get over it.  It's important to note that a sincere apology means looking me in the eye and saying, "I was wrong.  I'm sorry." and nothing else.  Men don't want to hear the extenuating circumstances, and we certainly don't wan't you to pass a part of the blame onto someone else.  Most people don't want to hear this, but it's true.  An apology followed by a defense is less of an apology.  If you want to put icing on the cake ask, "Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" and then do whatever is asked, even if the answer is nothing.

If the "events in our life" that made me angry were not my wife's fault, then I really don't need her to do anything.  I will work it out on my own sooner or later.  That being said, there are a few things that are ALWAYS effective as improving my mood:

         1.  Stroke the ego.  This makes me feel good about myself, as long as it's genuine.  Artificial compliments make it worse.

         2.  Stroke other parts.  (You know what your husband's favorite is.)

         3.  Feed me.  Offer me a drink as soon as I come home and make my favorite meal. This may be too traditional for feminists, but it works.

Men are actually very simple creatures.  We are not at all complicated, and it doesn't take much creativity to please us.

    I hope this helps!

  7. Let him know how much you not only love, but appreciate what he does for your house hold and for you. Do some nice things. A massage, his favorite meal, etc. Make him feel like a king (but don't forget who his queen is :-)

  8. Yeah, first poster pretty much nailed it.  Suck him, fix him a sandwich, and just don't talk so much.  Winner winner, chicken dinner.
