The French international wants his team-mates to go as far as they can in the Champions League, and is confident that they have what it takes to go far in the competition
Jeremy Menez has insisted that Paris Saint-Germain are hungry for silverware, and with their recent successes in the Champions League, the striker rules out an early elimination from the competition. The player is hopeful that his team goes far in the competition.
Les Parisiens have been disappointing in the Ligue 1, but the French outfit has been resolute in the European competition, winning 5 out of their 6 fixtures. Paris Saint-Germain are considered to be serious contenders for the title this season, despite their
domestic woes.

“You always want to go as far as possible in a competition like this, but we will see who we get in the draw.”
The Frenchman added:
“We know that when everyone plays like that we are capable of doing really well. Even after they [Porto] equalised we kept on playing our football, which shows we were in the right frame of mind.”
Upon being asked that which team he would prefer to be drawn against, the former Roma player said that he doesn’t have a preference, and is excited about the knock out phase ahead. He said:
“I do not have a preference; the most important thing is that, whoever we get, we do not underestimate them.”
